热塑性弹性体(TPE)具有橡胶的高弹性,高强度,高回弹性,又具有可注塑加工的特征,主要包括苯乙烯嵌段共聚物(SBC),热塑性聚烯烃(TPO),热塑性聚氨酯(TPU),热塑性硫化橡胶(TPV)等类型。广泛应用于汽车、鞋类与运动、电子电气、医疗体育等行业。作为第三代橡胶产品,TPE正不断取代普通塑料和橡胶而迅猛发展。全球TPE需求量以6-8%的速度增长。
据统计,美国、中国、日本和德国是全球4个最大的TPE消费市场。在亚洲,特别是中国,随着需求强劲增长,近年来TPE产能和投资也在快速增加。国内外领先企业如帝斯曼、陶氏杜邦、埃克森美孚、普利万、中石化等都持续开发新型TPE产品。2016中国石油和化学工业联合会发布《石油和化学工业“十三五”发展指南》提出,在化工新材料领域,积极开发新型热塑性弹性体。

陶氏将出席2017热塑性弹性体技术与市场研讨会并作演讲

亚化咨询主办的2017热塑性弹性体(TPE)技术与市场研讨会将于3月31日在北京召开。全球最大的聚烯烃弹性体生产商和三元乙丙橡胶(EPDM)领域的领导者——陶氏化学将做精彩演讲,介绍“DOW高性能弹性体解决方案”。

聚烯烃类热塑性弹性体(TPO)主要包括嵌段共聚物、接枝共聚物和共混物3种类型,其中采用茂金属催化剂合成的聚烯烃热塑性弹性体乙烯-辛烯共聚物(POE)和动态硫化法制备的热塑性动态硫化胶(TPV)是两种主要的聚烯烃类热塑性弹性体。

POE分子量分布窄,且分子链饱和,因而具有优异的物理机械性能,良好的低温性能,优异的耐热化和抗紫外线性能。POE既可以改性橡胶,也可以改性塑料。POE与非极性橡胶的混合较为容易,特别是EPR、EPDM、NR、SBR及BR等。POE最大的应用是在塑料制品上,用以改性PP,对其缺口冲击强度提高很大;通过氧化物引发,AA等单体接枝可以增韧PA等工程塑料。

世界POE的生产始于20世纪90年代初期,目前全球POE总产能为71.5万吨,主要生产厂家有陶氏化学、埃克森美孚、三井化学和韩国LG化学。工艺技术以陶氏化学和韩国LG化学开发的Insite溶液法聚合工艺,以及埃克森美孚与三井化学开发的Exxpol高压聚合技术为主。

TPV是由弹性体-热塑性聚合物共混物协同作用生成,具有比简单共混物更好的性质,如上限使用温度高,耐烃类介质和压缩永久变形小。与传统生产新材料的工艺相比,动态硫化法生产成本低,且能满足对大型聚合装置的环保要求。目前TPV主要的生产企业有埃克森美孚、帝斯曼、道恩高材、北京北化新橡科技发展有限公司等。

数据显示,全球TPO消费市场容量大于100万吨,并且每年仍将以5%左右的速度增长。美国和西欧是TPO主要消费地区,2015年两地区合计消费量占到全球总消费量的约55%,中国TPO消费量约占全球总量的12%,人均消费量极低,未来中国需求增长潜力巨大。

DOW will deliver speech at ASIACHEM’s TPE Technologies & Market Conference 2017

TPE Technologies & Market Conference 2017 organized by ASIACHEM will be held in Beijing in Mar. 31st. DOW Chemical, the world's largest polyolefin elastomers producer and leader in the field of EPDM will attend the meeting and make presentation on "DOW High Performance Elastomer Solutions".

Polyolefin thermoplastic elastomers (TPO) mainly include three types, i.e. block copolymers, graft copolymers and blends, in which the polyolefin thermoplastic elastomer ethylene-octene copolymer (POE) synthesized by metallocene catalyst and thermoplastic dynamic vulcanizates prepared by dynamic vulcanization (TPV) are two major polyolefin thermoplastic elastomers.

POE molecular weight distribution is narrow, and the molecular chain is saturation, which has excellent physical and mechanical properties, good low temperature performance, excellent heat resistance and anti-ultraviolet performance. POE can be used for both modifying rubber and plastic. POE is easily mixing with non-polar rubber, especially EPR, EPDM, NR, SBR and BR, etc. The biggest application of POE is in the plastic products, for the modification PP, it can large increase its notched impact strength; through the oxide initiation, graft with AA and other monomer can reinforce PA and other engineering plastics.

World POE production began in the early 1990s, the current global POE total capacity is about 715kt, the main manufacturers are Dow Chemical, ExxonMobil, Mitsui Chemicals and LG Chemical. Mainstream technologies are Insite solution polymerization process developed by Dow Chemical and LG Chemical, Exxpol high pressure polymerization technology developed by ExxonMobil and Mitsui Chemicals.

TPV is produced by the synergistic action of elastomer and thermoplastic polymer blend, which has better properties than simple blends, such as high upper use temperature, high resistance to hydrocarbon and small compressed permanent deformation. Compared with the traditional production process of new materials, the production cost of dynamic vulcanization is low, also can meet the environmental requirements of large-scale polymerization device. At present, TPV main production enterprises are ExxonMobil, DSM, Shandong Dawn Polymer Material Co., Ltd., Beijing North New Rubber Technology Development Co., Ltd. etc.

Data shows that the global TPO consumer market capacity of more than 1Mt, and each year will continue to grow at about 5% rate. The US and Western Europe is the main consumption area of TPO, the total consumption in the two regions in 2015 accounted for about 55% of the global total consumption, Chinese TPO consumption accounted for about 12% of the global total number, per capita consumption is very low, which means that China's future demand growth has great potential.

石化规划院将出席2017热塑性弹性体研讨会,探讨高端石化产品发展方向

2016年,中国石油和化学工业联合会发布《石油和化学工业“十三五”发展指南》,指南提出,在化工新材料领域,积极开发新型热塑性弹性体。2017年1月下旬,工信部、发改委、科技部、财政部印发的《新材料产业发展指南》提出,发展苯乙烯类热塑性弹性体等不含塑化剂、可替代聚氯乙烯的医用高分子材料,提高卫生材料、药用包装的安全性。

In 2016, China Petroleum & Chemical Industry Federation issued the "Oil and Chemical Industry 13th FYP Development Guidelines", the guidelines proposed to actively develop new thermoplastic elastomer in the field of new chemical materials. In late Jan. 2017, the MIIT, NDRC, MST, MOF issued the "New Materials Industry Development Guidelines", it proposed to develop styrene-based thermoplastic elastomer and other medical polymer materials, which without plasticizer and alternative to PVC , to improve the safety of health materials, medicinal packaging.

Thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) has the characteristics of high elasticity, high strength, high elasticity, and can be injection-molded. TPE mainly includes styrene block copolymer (SBC), thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO), thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), thermoplastic vulcanized rubber (TPV) and other types. As the third generation of rubber products, TPE is constantly replacing ordinary plastic and rubber, and it is rapidly developing, and the global demand growth rate for TPE is about 6-8%. In China, TPE capacity and investment are increasing rapidly in recent years as demand has been strong

China's oil and chemical industry economies have ranked second in the world, but the quality of most products in the industrial value chain is low. After years of development, China's petrochemical industry has established a good foundation in the aspect of raw materials, technology and market, as well as consistent with the background of national innovation-driven, transformation development, which already have basic conditions for fine, high-end transformation development.

POE国产技术与应用前景 – 国家973 首席将在2017热塑性弹性体研讨会上作精彩报告

聚烯烃弹性体(POE)是指乙烯-辛烯共聚物(EOC)、乙烯-丁烯共聚物(EBC)、乙烯-己烯共聚物等,乙烯-α-烯烃共聚而成的聚烯烃类弹性体。POE具有优异的力学性能、流变性能和耐老化性能,既可用作橡胶,又可用作热塑性弹性体,还可用作塑料的抗冲击改性剂及增韧剂,低温韧性好,性价比高,在许多场合正逐渐替代乙丙橡胶,被广泛用于塑料改性。

目前全球POE主要生产厂家有陶氏化学、埃克森美孚、三井化学和SK等。生产技术以Dow开发的Insite溶液法聚合工艺,以及Exxon Mobil开发的Exxpol高压聚合技术为主。

迄今为止,国内石化企业未能商业化生产POE,产品均需进口。国内少数科研院所和高校开发了具有高共聚性能的茂金属催化剂和非茂有机金属催化剂,并开展了乙烯与α-烯烃共聚技术研究,为开发成型的POE合成技术及国内企业商业化生产POE提供了支撑。

李伯耿教授是“高性能热塑性弹性体制备及加工应用中的科学问题研究”(国家973计划项目)首席科学家。2015年11月4日,由浙江大学、中国石油化工股份有限公司北京化工研究院研发的“1000吨/年POE生产技术工艺设计包”通过了鉴定。该技术有望在近几年内获得商业化应用。

北京化工大学将出席2017热塑性弹性体研讨会,介绍TPE创新技术与应用

北京化工大学先进弹性体材料研究中心(CAEM, BUCT)是国内领先的弹性体技术开发与产业化研究机构,近年来已与道恩集团、玲珑轮胎、风神轮胎、北京东方雨虹等国内知名企业成功合作。

CAEM与山东道恩化学合作,2005年在山东省龙口市建成了中国第一条年产3000吨级TPV的生产线;2008年获得了国家技术发明二等奖。2016年12月,道恩化学成功上市。

CAEM在国内率先开展了“生物弹性体”制备与应用研究,与北京积水潭医院合作,进行生物组织修复、治疗用弹性体材料和人工颈椎间盘的开发研究工作。在国际上率先提出了“生物工程弹性体”(Bio Engineering Elastomer,BEE)的概念,合成出一系列生物基单体的工程弹性体。

CAEM will deliver speech at ASIACHEM’s TPE Technologies & Market Conference 2017

Center of Advanced Elastomer Materials, Beijing University of Chemical Technology is a leading technology development and industrial research institute of elastomer in China. In recent years, CAEM has been successful cooperating with well-known domestic enterprises such as Dawn Group, Linglong Tire, Fengshen Tire and Oriental Yuhong, etc.

CAEM cooperated with Shandong Dawn Chemical Co., Ltd. to build Chinese first TPV production line with annual capacity of 3kt in Longkou City, Shandong Province in 2005; CAEM won the national technology invention second prize in 2008. In Dec. 2016, Dawn Chemical successfully listed.

CAEM took the lead in carrying out the preparation and application of "bio-elastomer" in China, and cooperated with Beijing Jishuitan Hospital to carry out research on the development of biological tissue repair, elastomer material for treatment and artificial cervical disc. CAEM first proposed the concept of "Bio Engineering Elastomer (BEE)" in the international community, and synthesized a series of engineering elastomers.

The 1st Thermoplastic Elastomer Technologies & Market Conference will be organized by ASIACHEM Consulting in Beijing on Mar. 31, 2017. Experts from the Petroleum and Chemical Industry Planning Institute, Dow Chemical, Zhejiang University, Sichuan University Polymer Research Institute and others companies will do report for the conference.
